Community Center for the Blind to open satellite office in Tracy

TRACY - Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is excited to announce it will sign a lease at the Opera House in Tracy and plans to have services up and running by August!

The organization has been serving the greater San Joaquin County area since 1949, with its home office located at 130 West Flora Street in Stockton and another satellite office in Lodi with adaptive computer classes at Lutheran Redeemer Church.

The center welcomes your calls and questions and looks forward to providing even more direct services to the blind and visually-impaired in the Tracy area.

RIPON - The Ripon Chamber of Commerce, along with the City of Ripon’s Fireworks Committee will be hosting a week-long Community Appreciation Event beginning Wednesday, June 29. During this week there will be a theme for every day.  Each participating business will be supplying something, of their choice, that pertains to the theme of the day, to visiting patrons. Each participating business will have a poster in their window to let the public know they are a participant.
