CHP find dead body during Tracy traffic stop | News

TRACY, CA (AP) - San Joaquin County Sheriff's officials are trying to determine the cause of death for a man whose body was found inside a sleeping bag in the bed of a pickup truck.

The California Highway Patrol found the body during a traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon in Tracy.

The man has not been identified.

Authorities say his body showed no visible signs of trauma although they have deemed the death suspicious.

An autopsy has been ordered.

Two people inside the truck were detained and questioned.
